Calabrese House is a ranch style home in Parsippany, New Jersey. Calabrese House provides help and creates hope for 5 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Calabrese House opened 2001. Five men and women moved into this group home named in memory of Dominic A. Calabrese. Dominic was a Papal Knight of Saint Gregory and served as the State Deputy of the New Jersey Knights of Columbus. He was a longtime friend and volunteer of DPD. He proposed and introduced a fundraising effort for DPD which was a great success. At the kick-off celebration for this fundraiser Dominic had a massive heart attack and passed away.
After Dominick’s passing this effort was named "Dominic's Dream." Dominic's Dream shattered all set goals and helped the DPD advance and serve more people.
Dominic's legacy lives on through the people who live at Calabrese House and through the good works of the Knights of Columbus.
