We are proud to provide help and create hope for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, at our Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD).
March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, with World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st.
Special thanks to DPD volunteer, Jenn Minervino who put together personalized gift bags for each of the people who live in our group homes and supervised apartments. Items were chosen based on hobbies and interests, and included sports apparel, music, beauty products and art supplies.
"I am proud to celebrate the people of DPD for all of their amazing abilities and talents. I am blessed to be part of this vibrant community," Jenn said.
God bless the people who live at DPD and all of our sisters and brothers who happen to have intellectual and developmental disabilities!
